Chardonnay

Silkwood

Pemberton, Western Australia

This is a new vineyard for us and recommened by a holidaying West Australian here for a bit of a  break and we are most grateful to her for the suggestion as this is quite a find in that most difficult of things ; a wine that over delivers for the price and that is so true of the ' second label ' of this winery : Dingo Creek.

The Dingo Creek wines offer fine everyday drinking with a fruit driven SB and then a blend in the red with both sure to please at a price of $10 !

Russell Wines

Barossa Valley, South Australia

Russell logoThe best thing is to quote John Russell at this point :

"Along with music, wine has long been a passion of mine. When I first came to the Barossa to start a music festival I fell in love with the region and its lifestyle, and was inspired to become a grape grower and winemaker. I invite you to share in this journey and enjoy the wines created from our own vineyards. "

Small Gully Wines

Barossa Valley, South Australia

This was our find of 2008 and we are so pleased that others have agreed with our selection as we cannot keep enough in stock and people will tell others where they bought it despite our attempts to keep this winery under our hat !

Stephen Black was a Pharmacist and obviously has a great sense of humour as all of his wines have a presciption style label and wording !

Let's look at the wines :

Woodside Valley Estate

Three Wishes Vineyard

Tamar Valley, Tasmania

Three Wishes VineyardThe Whish - Wilson Family have perhaps one of the most beautiful settings ever for a vineyard and should be seen to be believed!

They produce a Pinot Noir , a Chardonnay and an amazing Riesling with the latter perhaps to become the benchmark for this vineyard as Peter WW always seems to have fun getting it to ripen and reading his comments on thier web site is always amusing.

Parri Estate

Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia

Parri Estate - South AustraliaParri Estate has been establishing exports in a number of markets since 1998.The vineyard is just north of Victor Harbor on Sneyd Road Mount Compass and is perfectly suited to the production of many varieties of white wine as well as Pinot Noir and big black spicy Shiraz as it is grown on limestone soil.

Eldridge Estate of Red Hill

Mornington Peninsula, Victoria

Eldridge Estate of Red Hill - Mornington PeninsulaDavid & Wendy Lloyd purchased this most picturesque of vineyards in 1995 which features some of the most spectacular views of the Mornington Peninsula.
