Mornington Peninsula, Victoria

We are pleased to stock a new Pinot Gris from a small vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula called Phaedrus. Owner/winemaker Maïtèna grew up on a vineyard, while partner Ewan had always appreciated wine. It was only a matter of time until they decided to create Phaedrus in 1997. Since then, they have built up their label to produce 3000 cases each year spanning five varieties which are typically cool climate.

The Pinot Gris is a lovely wine that is fruit driven in a typical Alsatian Gris style. It is a must for people looking to move away from Sauvignon Blanc!
